About Me
Born in 1972 I concluded medical school in 1999 and got my specialist qualification in general medicine in 2006. Since 2007 I teach western medical assessment techniques at the “Akademie zur Berufsausbildung für Heilpraktiker” (academy for naturopaths) in Berlin and since 2009 I am also teaching at the acupuncture-courses for midwives at the AGTCM school Shou Zhong in Berlin.
My interest in acupuncture started at medical school in the mid 1990s. In the year 2000 I worked with Dr. Gunia in Bramsche (acupuncture practice and acupuncture-school for doctors) and got my German acupuncture-diploma for doctors. There I also learned and practised Chinese ear-acupuncture and ear-diagnosis.
From 2003 to 2006 I complemented my acupuncture-knowledge with a 3-year-course on TCM with emphasis on acupuncture with the AGTCM in Berlin. Since then I regularly participate at courses and congresses organized by the AGTCM.
